It’s been an epic season for Strictly Come Dancing this year with seemingly no end to the controversy, drama and action.
Red Dwarf actor and contestant Danny John-Jules was back in the news after old tweets resurfaced of him accusing the BBC One show of racism. Back in 2016 he tweeted “They always get rid of the black guy first”, although he has since apologised for the remarks.
Comedian Sean Walsh also made headlines when he was caught kissing partner Katya Jones – whose husband Neil works on the show! And to add further fire to the flames, the kiss happened on none other than Walsh’s girlfriend’s birthday.
Despite all the distractions, the show has enjoyed a highly professional level of dancing, most notably from contestants Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev who were awarded a rare perfect 10 score from the judges after one particularly impressive performance.
So who’s going to walk away with the Glitter Ball this Saturday?
The four remaining couples are Roberts and Kovalev, Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, Faye Tozer and Giovanni Pernice, and Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg. Dooley and Clifton are in with the best chance to win with slightly higher than 50 percent odds at 8/15.
Despite their once-off perfect score, Roberts and Kovalev are least favourites to win, with bookies giving them only a 50/1 chance. The couple is also most likely to be eliminated next with 11/10 odds.
Buswell and Sugg are a close second with a 30 percent chance at 9/4 odds and Tozer and Pernice have been given only a 9/1 chance.
Dooley is favorite for Top Women at 1/7, with Tozer next at 9/2 followed by Roberts at 22/1.
