Bet Construct earns poker license

Gambling software company has continued its recent expansion into the market, overseen by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), with the announcement that it has secured the MGA’s approval to add online poker games to its existing stable of licensed betting products.

The well-known developer and producer of a range of both online and land-based betting solutions has confirmed publicly that it has been given approval by the MGA to add poker gaming to its product list, with licences that cover both business-to-customer (B2C) and business-to-business provision.

This new poker licence will fit effectively with the existing range of BetConstruct’s MGA licences, which already cover sports betting and the provision of fantasy sports services.

High technical standards

The news comes after the company secured approval from the Malta regulator back in May for its B2C division to provide casino games for many well-known Malta-based casino operators. At the time of that announcement, the Head of Licensing and Certification at BetConstruct, Karine Kocharyan had hinted that the addition of poker was in the pipeline, and those plans have now come to fruition.

Speaking about the latest announcement, the Founder and CEO of the company, Vigen Badalyan, said that was the result of a long process of development and improvement of their software:

We are very pleased to secure Online Poker Licence as a result of the continuous development and improvement of our software. Meeting high technical standards of MGA, we now offer to build on high game profiles and attract maximum player numbers with our Poker Software.”

According to Badalyan, the poker software produced by BetConstruct offers additional protection for less experienced online poker players, and a number of advanced game functions, including the capacity for professional players to experience multi-table play.
